Every once in a while it's good to take a look at where we've been to see where we are going. Have we accomplished some or all of the goals and objectives we set for ourselves? Are we moving forward as an association or are we just cruising along?

 

2008 promises to be an exciting year in the land records industry in Wisconsin. From electronic recording of documents in the Register of Deeds Offices to the creation of a statewide Geographic Information Council.  The WLIA provides a forum to learn about these and other issues in order to understand how they will benefit us.

 

Please review the various pages our website provides to learn more about committees, task force issues, membership, education, technical issues as well as the strategic plan for our association. 

 

We offer many opportunities to participate in the WLIA activities: committee assignments, annual and regional conference activities and networking events.

 

I look forward to getting to know many of you better and meeting some of you for the first time.
