Mission: The Committee shall find and attract new members to join our association.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Develop membership/promotional brochures for use when traveling to other organization conferences.
2. Develop and keep current a membership application form on the Internet.
3. Recruit as routinely as possible, new members from our four main categories: a) Individual Memberships, b) Association Memberships, c) Business Memberships, and d) Student Memberships.
4. Actively recruit those who foster the understanding, development, operation, and
maintenance of land information.
5. Membership and its entitlements run from annual meeting to annual meeting.
6. Membership, depending on category includes: a) one individual membership, b) a quarterly newsletter, c) reduced registration costs to all the quarterly meetings, and, d) permitted to exhibit a display at any association conference.
7. Membership fees are generally paid as part of the annual meeting registration fee or as part of the quarterly membership meetings.

Membership: The President shall appoint a Chairperson who shall be member of the Board. The
membership of the Committee shall consist of the chairperson and other members of the Association as appointed by the Chairperson. The terms of appointment shall be for one year. The Land Information Officer in each county should be considered an ex-officio member of this Committee. This person should naturally know who should be involved and be a member.
