Mission: The Committee shall establish task forces to study land information issues and provide a forum for examining new land information ideas.

Duties and Responsibilities
:
1. Establish Task Forces too examine and make recommendations on technical issues affecting the Land Information Program.
2. Develop and maintain methods and procedures for creating land information standards to enable the Land Information Network and the integration of land records.
3. Provide technical support to the Education Committee in its development and analysis of
educational materials and opportunities.
4. Identify emerging technical issues affecting the Land Information Program.
5. Annually adopt, with the counsel of the President, a three to five year plan on specific goals for achievement.
6. Submit to the Secretary a list containing the names, addresses and telephone numbers of all committee members.
7. Assist the President Elect in the development and execution of the program for the Annual
Conference.
8. Perform such other duties as the Board of Directors may assign.
9. Prepare a report on achievements and activities, together with recommendations for the upcoming year, for presentation at the Annual Conference.

Membership: The membership of the Committee shall consist of a Chairperson and other members of the Association as appointed by the Chairperson. The President shall appoint a chairperson who shall be a member of the Board. The terms of appointment shall be for one year.
