The Wisconsin Land Information Association Nominations Committee is looking for recommendations to serve as President-elect and Directors for the 2015 WLIA Board of Directors. The committee strives to build a slate of candidates that will represent the entire spectrum of the WLIA membership.
We are seeking your suggestions, which will be forwarded to the Nominations Committee. You can recommend yourself or someone you believe would serve WLIA well. The only requirement for board member nomination is that the person be a member of WLIA. If you are recommending someone for the President-Elect position, that person must have served on the Board of Directors previously for at least two years.
If you can, please provide a brief description of why you think this person will make a good board member, such as what part of the State they hail from and what occupation they represent (full biographies will be solicited for the actual ballot from our final candidates). We are looking for a slate of approximately 8 to 12 potential board members and 2 or more President Elect candidates.
The President-Elect position is a four (4) year commitment: one year as President Elect of the association, one year as President of the association, one year as the Past President position on the board of directors and one year as the Scholarship Foundation President.
The Board positions are a two (2) year term from the date of the annual conference.

The slate of candidates will be sent to members in early January, 2015. Ballots, including biographical summaries of all candidates, will be online shortly after that date. Voting results will be announced at the Annual Meeting in Green Bay February 18-20, 2015.
