It’s with great regret that WLIA announces the resignation of Jason Houle from the Board of Directors. While Jason was on the Board he served on multiple committees specifically the Vice Chair of the Legislative Committee providing surveying perspectives and insightful opinions. Please join me in wishing Jason a successful future in his new ventures.
Zach Nienow, GISP, is a geospatial project manager with Ayres Associates in Madison. He is a proud Badger, graduating from the UW-Madison Geography Department in 2004 with a degree in GIS/Cartography. With over 12 years of experience in geospatial sciences, Zach designs and leads lidar, orthoimagery, and digital mapping projects from flight to delivery. He serves a diverse range of clients in the private and public sectors, including many counties and municipalities in Wisconsin. The project coordinator for the Wisconsin Regional Orthophotography Consortium (WROC), Zach helped lead many aspects of the program for members and partners in 2015-16.
Zach has been a member of WLIA since 2012 and says he has greatly benefited from participating in many of the regional and annual conferences. He wants to give back to WLIA by taking an active role in the advancement of land information systems in Wisconsin. He has enjoyed getting to know many of you over the last five years and says the best part of his job has been working alongside dedicated land information professionals in Wisconsin to achieve common goals. Zach is excited to support the association by fulfilling this term and hopefully future terms as well.
Welcome to the Board of Directors Zach!
