GIS Day at UW-Milwaukee

Registration is now open! GIS Day 2016 at UW-Milwaukee will be coming up on Wednesday, November 16 (9 am-4 pm). The UWM GIS Council has planned a full day of activities on campus that showcase Milwaukee-area GIS projects and resources. All sessions are free, but registration is appreciated and will open in about a week. Go to uwm.edu/gisday.

Activities include concurrent hands-on workshops, presentations by area GIS professionals, a luncheon with featured speaker Matt Richardson, Smartwave Consulting “The End of the Static Map,” and a map gallery displaying numerous GIS projects by UWM and area GIS professionals.

If you have an idea for a workshop, Ignite session, or rotating session that you would like to present, please contact Donna Genzmer ASAP: 414-229-4865. We hope you can participate!
