This years conference is going to be hosted in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. Click here to submit your preferred date for the conference. Please complete this survey by May 8th.
As you may or may not have heard, this year’s Municipal GIS User Group Meeting is being hosted in Manitowoc by Jill Erickson and Tyler Caulum, from the City of Manitowoc.
We are happy to announce that we have secured the Riverview Room at the historic Wisconsin Maritime Museum on the Manitowoc River, including an optional tour of the Museum and sub-marine after the conference, free of cost.
As in previous years, the meeting will begin at 9:00 A.M. and have presentations until Noon, followed by a catered lunch from a local deli and the option of attending the museum tour. The meeting format is going to be similar to last years with six ~20 minute presentations as well as one ~30 minute “feature” presentation.
We have narrowed the potential dates for the event to the last Friday in September (29) or either of the first two Friday’s (6 or 13) in October. Click this link to the survey allowing you to select the date(s) that work best for you to attend. Because of the limited availability of the Riverview Room it is imperative that we reserve the room by May 8th.
At this time we are also searching for presenters. If you would like to present either a 20 minute or the 30 minute presentation, indicate so on the survey with your name and email address.
Please forward the survey to individuals/departments that might be interested in attending. If there are any questions regarding the meeting venue, dates, or presentations, do not hesitate to contact Tyler Caulum, Associate City Planner of the City of Manitowoc.
