ANNUAL CONFERENCE HIGHLIGHT: YOUNG PROFESSIONALS TRACK

Posted on January 10, 2018 by Peter Strand

In 2018 the Annual Conference will feature a Young Professionals Track.  This track provides resources to those who are new to their Land Information career or who have just recently implemented GIS in their established careers.

Employers want to get to know you, your capabilities and your passions.  Hear from hiring experts on what they look for in candidates.   Meet motivated professionals who have succeeded in their careers and can help guide you along a similar pathway.  Learn about developing productive relationships, seizing opportunities to stand out and how to make your job both challenging and fun.  Beyond the Young Professionals Track the rest of the conference will be packed with workshops and sessions you can use it to enrich your career.

About WLIA

Founded in 1987, WLIA is a grassroots organization representing a collection of concerned professionals working to develop, maintain, and apply a network of statewide land information systems.

We are united by an interest in land records modernization, GIS, and related technologies, and by the need for government policies and programs that support their efficient and effective application.
