Develops and assists others in developing educational programs and materials for members and organizations that are facing land information issues and implementing Land / Geographic Information Systems.

Monitors proposed legislation and assess the impact of how it may affect the land information program and the association.
Actively recruits those who foster the understanding, development, operation, and maintenance of land information. Works to establish strong working relationships with external organizations and develops and maintains a marketing and public relations plan for the association.
Establishes task forces to study land information issues and provide a forum for examining new land information ideas.
Develops, coordinates, and implements the program for the 2019 annual conference. The president-elect shall chair the committee and coordinate sub-committees for conference planning.
Develops and recommends a list of award recipients for the annual conference.
Develops and recommends a slate of candidates for annual elections representative of the association membership for the board of directors approval.
