Last month the WLIA Board of Directors approved updates to our Legislative White Papers to reflect our legislative priorities for the upcoming 2019-20 legislative session. One highlight is the addition of a fourth Legislative Priority: Next Generation 911 GIS Funding. Three other priorities which were updated include stable funding for the WLIP, continued support for statewide parcel mapping initiatives, and eliminating barriers to geospatial data at all levels of government. Association members are encouraged to use our Focus Areas of Interest document, also known as a one-pager, as a handout if they have an opportunity to meet with administrators or legislators.
