WLIA is a grassroots organization and those roots run deep not only in the public sector but in the private sector as well. Corporate entities have played a major part in the organization’s success since its inception with involvement at all levels, and the Map Contest is no exception!
The Map Contest at WLIA is a unique opportunity to showcase your company’s capabilities and display services you provide to potential clients. The contest includes both static and interactive maps so no matter what products or services your company offers there is a vehicle for exhibiting your best projects.
Maybe you’ve produced an ESRI Story Map for a municipality that highlights how they manage their infrastructure, or maybe you’ve crafted an atlas of hiking routes in the Northwoods. Whatever it may be, it’s worth entering and showing off!
Who knows? Your unique cartography or interactive implementation strategy may be just what a potential client is looking for and exactly what they could be looking at during the 32nd WLIA Annual Conference in Appleton on February 21st and 22nd. There is even a special Best Private Sector Award for the finest entry. With no cost to enter, there’s really nothing to lose!
Show your wares, get your company name out there, and impress the competition! Enter the WLIA Map Contest today!
The deadline for interactive maps to be submitted is February 8th. Other maps can be submitted online through February 19th or at the conference site on February 21st from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.
