The Department of Administration Wisconsin Land Information Program (WLIP) received the 2019 Friend of Wisconsin Land Surveying Award from the Wisconsin County Surveyors Association (WCSA).
The award was received at the annual WCSA meeting on January 25th in Wisconsin Dells, part of the 70th Annual Wisconsin Society of Land Surveyors’ Institute. WLIP Program Manager Mike Friis accepted the award, which was based on WLIP contributions to modernizing local land records and supporting land surveying throughout Wisconsin.
The WLIP helps advance the Public Land Survey System with grants that promote the modernization of land records, which includes surveying and mapping. For the full article, please read the DOA press release.
