WLIA Silent Auction Update

Donations for the WLIA Foundation Silent Auction taking place at the Annual Conference continue to come in. Our donors always provide a great variety of items and gift packages every year and we are grateful for them!

For example, we recently received a package from Greenfire Management Services  that includes four tickets to the new Fiserv Forum to watch the Milwaukee Bucks play Philadelphia on March 17th. Even cooler, the package includes an overnight stay that evening at the Potawatomi Hotel. All together this is a $530 value!

Some of the other donations  include, Gift Certificates for Big Top Chautauqua, BrewCity Bruisers Roller Derby and Golf passes at both Waukesha and Washington County courses,

books signed by Wisconsin and regional authors,

sports tickets and fan memorabilia,

and much more.

While our donations are diverse, the WLIA Foundation is still looking for more, so if you want to contribute or know of a business or agency that might be interested in donating an item,
please contact Jim Landwehr or Ann Barrett and we will help you. Of course, 100% of all donations go to fund scholarships for the Damon Anderson Scholarship Fund. These scholarships are given to selected higher education students pursuing degrees in Geography, GIS, Urban Planning and Geospatial Studies. Last year we raised more than $3000. We hope to exceed that this year!

Thanks to all the donors who have contributed! #itsforthekids
