Mike Koutnik Receives the Allen H Miller Sustained Service Award

The Wisconsin Land Information Association held its 32nd Annual Conference February 20-22, 2019. As part of the conference, WLIA recognized individuals and organizations for their significant achievements or service to the land information community.

Mike Koutnik, Esri Account Manager, was presented with the 2019 Allen H. Miller Sustained Service Award.

The Allen H. Miller sustained service award is given to an individual or organization that demonstrates sustained service to WLIA and the WLIP, through continued exemplary contributions. The Allen H. Miller Sustained Service Award is named after our first President and continuing friend and supporter.

Mike has always taken an active interest in Wisconsin data, funding and GIS technology issues. His knowledge and history with the WLIB, WLIA, LION and other State agencies, boards and commissions has been steady and consistent over the last 25 plus years. He is passionate about geography, GIS and Land Records and has always reached out in both technical and advisory capacities to help municipal and state governments succeed with their programs.

Congratulations and thank you Mike!
