Join us on Wednesday, September 18th at 9 AM at the State Capitol in room 412 East for ‘Maps at the Capitol’ presented by the Wisconsin State Agency Geospatial Information Committee (SAGIC). There will be various maps and geographic data related presentations and displays. See what projects different state agencies are working on together, and spend some time talking with the project experts.

This event is free and open to anyone that would like to attend. The intended focus is on legislative and executive staff. There will be a series of presentations throughout the day. The final schedule will be out in a couple of weeks. Time and room subject to change with little notice based on Capitol scheduling.

For those unable to attend, Wisconsin Eye will be recording the presentations.

About WLIA

Founded in 1987, WLIA is a grassroots organization representing a collection of concerned professionals working to develop, maintain, and apply a network of statewide land information systems.

We are united by an interest in land records modernization, GIS, and related technologies, and by the need for government policies and programs that support their efficient and effective application.
