Nominations for WLIA Board of Directors and President-Elect

The Wisconsin Land Information Association Nominations Committee is seeking nominations for President-Elect and Board of Directors. You are encouraged to nominate yourself or someone you believe would serve WLIA well. We strive to build a slate of candidates that will represent the entire spectrum of the WLIA membership.

All nominees must be a current member of WLIA. Nominees for President-elect must have served on the Board of Directors for at least two years.

  • The President-Elect position is a four (4) year commitment (one year as President-Elect/Conference Committee Chair, one year as President of the association, one year as the Past President position on the Board of Directors and one year as the WLIA Foundation President.)
  • Director positions are a two (2) year commitment.

Consistent with the association’s bylaws, the Nominations Committee will recommend a final slate of candidates that is representative of the association’s membership both geographically and professionally. The slate of candidates will be sent to members in early 2020. Voting, including biographical summaries of all candidates, will be online shortly after that and voting results will be announced at the Annual Conference in Middleton February 19-21, 2020. ­
