There is a lot to offer at our annual conference and we look forward to sharing more information about our preliminary agenda soon. We currently feature a lineup of 52 presentations but for now I will just offer you a sneak peek at a few of our offerings and some of the tracks at this years Annual Conference.
A popular topic this year is ArcGIS Enterprise and ESRI’s Jordan Miller & Matt Robinson will be discussing the architectural fundamentals of ArcGIS Enterprise deployment. This is not the only popular topic as there will be a heavy dose of the parcel fabric and one of the presentations by Frank Conkling of Panda Consulting is titled ArcMap Parcel Fabric Doctor’s Office.
Mobile GIS is a new feature track this year and there will be sessions on getting the most out of Collector for ArcGIS as well as Survey 123. Other past popular tracks will of course return with Imagery, LiDAR, Land Records, and Muncipal GIS well represented and Emerging Technologies will of course be a track as well, but that is not all. There could be something you haven’t considered in the GIS Everything Track.
You can also plan on timely updates on the Wisconsin Regional Orthophotography Consortium (WROC) 2020 and updates from the Wisconsin Spatial reference System 2022 Task Force in conference sessions.
In coming weeks we will also feature information on “The Opening” event, Special Interest Group meetings, and additional focuses on Keynote Speakers James Whitehorne and Roger Kain. Stay tuned there are a lot more updates coming soon.
We hope you enjoyed 2019 and look forward to our 2020 Annual Conference in Middleton on February 19th-21st, 2020. Looking out a bit further we will be returning to the Blue Harbor Resort & Conference Center for the Spring Regional Meeting in Sheboygan on June 4th & 5th, 2020. The Fall Regional Meeting is taking place in Wausau and will be held at the Jefferson Street Inn on October 15th and 16th, 2020. So mark those dates on your new calendars as well.
