Are you a K-12 teacher? Do you volunteer for 4H, FFA, or girl/boy scouts? Come learn how GIS and interactive maps can enhance the work you do with students. In this half-day session you will learn what GIS is, how it can be easily integrated into your curriculum, and what resources are available to you, as educators. This session will include training in mapping and GIS tools and an introduction to free GIS lessons to use in your classroom. You’ll also learn how to find and collect GIS data and how to display it to tell a story.
If you are interested and would like to learn more about our K12 Teacher Session, GIS in the Classroom, then I suggest that you click on the whiteboard below.
