The Wisconsin Land Information Association held its 33nd Annual Conference February 19-21, 2019. As part of the conference, WLIA recognized individuals and organizations for their significant achievements or service to the land information community.
Colter Sikora, Broadband Mapping Coordinator for the
Public Service Commission of Wisconsin, received the Outstanding Contribution Award. The outstanding contribution award is given to an individual or an organization that is a WLIA member and has made a substantial contribution to WLIA activities or the Wisconsin Land Information Program (WLIP).
Colter has gone above and beyond for WLIA. Over the past several years, he has dedicated a significant amount of his time running the Map and Poster Contest. Our Map Gallery has always been good, but Colter has elevated it to another level. Furthermore, he has been an active member of the Program Team. Colter has helped recruit several keynote speakers, workshop presenters, and critical content to round out tracks. He also goes out of his way to help others and share his knowledge. Colter also has made significant contributions to the grater Land Records community as an active member and now the chair of SAGIC and through his position with the Public Service Commission.
Thank you and congratulations, Colter.
