If you identify as a woman or are a person from underrepresented gender backgrounds, you should consider registering for the Women in Geospatial+ speaker database.
In an effort to make it as easy as possible for geospatial conference and event organizers to diversify their speaker pool, the Women in Geospatial+ professional network has launched a speaker database. We’ve seen great presentations and workshops from women+ at WLIA annual and regional conferences – consider sharing your knowledge and expertise with the broader (i.e. global) geospatial community.
Currently, they are in a registration-only phase with plans to launch the platform and full searchable database in May. Visit https://speakers.womeningeospatial.org/how to learn more about the need for this database, how it works, and advice for creating a speaker profile.
