Meeting Highlight: Parcel Fabric, and Redistricting Software Training on Thursday June 4, at 12:55 PM.

The WLIA Virtual Spring Regional continues on Thursday, June 4 at 12:55 with a virtual map gallery, ArcGIS Pro Parcel Fabric: Migration Considerations, and Local Redistricting Software Training. We’ll learn more about the virtual map gallery in a later post, so let’s take a look at Parcel Fabric and Redistricting Software Training.

ArcGIS Pro Parcel Fabric: Migration Considerations will be led by Andy King-Scribbins from Esri as he discusses the Parcel Fabric and what you need to know and do to get your parcels into the parcel fabric. Ryan Squires GIS Applications Developer for the Legislative Technology Services Bureau will follow that up with Local Redistricting Software Training. WISE-LR is a web application developed by the LTSB specifically for the state statutes of Wisconsin and local redistricting laws in 2021. WISE-LR will allow local officials, or their delegates, to create, analyze, and share county supervisory plans, ward plans, and aldermanic plans with accurate demographic data.

We’ll finish up around 4 to give people plenty of time to hop on over to the fun and excitement of the Thursday night social events.
