Silent Auction to Open Early!

Items Rolling In

Items for the WLIA Foundation Silent Auction are beginning to roll in and there’s some cool ones. Like this Green Bay Packers autograph embossed football for the 2020 team.

Or this 2 night stay in a cabin on Lake Metonga in Crandon, Wisconsin.

As well as lots of ESRI books, T-Shirts and other swag.

And much, much more!

Items Still Needed + Sponsorship

The WLIA Foundation silent auction benefits higher education students pursuing degrees in Geography, GIS, and Geospatial Studies in the form of $1000 scholarships. Our goal is to raise $3000-$4000. To meet this goal, we are still in need of items. Because everything is online, we’ve made it simple to donate using the online auction form at the link here.

Also, when you donate, please extend your gift by shipping the item to the winning bidder. Please specify the shipping arrangements in the Item Description field, so bidders will know what to expect.

Note that any items donated with a value of $300 or more, automatically qualifies the donator to status as a Silent Auction Sponsor with logo recognition on the auction homepage.

But wait, there’s more!

Early Bidding

This year, we are able to open bidding prior to the start of the WLIA Annual Conference. So bidding will begin at 9:00 AM on February 8th. This is all the more reason to get your donations in early. (We’ll take them right up until the conference starts, however. We’re not that way.)

A link to the bidding will be placed on the Annual Conference website.

So, as we say every year, bid early and bid often! Bidding will end at 10:00 AM on Friday February 19th.

And, finally we’d like to give a special shout-out to those that have already donated items. Thank you so much! You are making it happen.

Remember, #itsforthekids!
