The 2021 WLIA Annual conference is almost here! Make sure you are ready to enjoy all the things it has to offer with this handy list:
Set up your itinerary on Eventsquid – Make sure to plan all five days on Eventsquid, because that makes it easy to find your Zoom links. We’ve added your workshops and keynote speakers for you, but go check out all the great tracks we have too. I know, some hard decisions will have to be made…but we’re recording them all too!
Download your Digital Swag Bag – A lot of you probably already got your Welcome Kits, but we have even more fun for you with our Digital Swag Bag. Get Zoom backgrounds, coloring pages for the kids (or you, we won’t judge), a handy Attendee Guide for quick reference, and other fun stuff!
Sign up for WLIA’s Slack workspace – If you aren’t there already, join Slack by clicking here. You’ll be automatically added to channels where you can chat about the conference, enter contests, and ask questions. There’s also two optional channels for networking – a New Member Area for folks to mingle with new members to show them the ropes, and a Job Board if you have a job to post or a resume to release into the wild!
Join Remo, our Virtual Exhibit Hall platform – By going to live.remo.co you can set up your profile ahead of time so it’s even faster to join the Exhibit Floor during conference hours and join in on the fun contests there! There are three rooms of exhibitors for you to visit with, so make sure to save time in your day to check it out!
Make some bids in the Silent Auction – The Silent Auction to benefit the WLIA Foundation is already up and the bidding is already hot! Before you bid, make a log-in that will store your info and check out all the great items we have collected! Because it’s virtual, it even tells you when you’ve been outbid so you don’t miss that sought after item. There’s still time to donate an item as well, just because bidding has started doesn’t mean we won’t take that bobblehead.
We hope this helps distill down your to-do list and we can’t wait to see you all next week on Zoom and Remo.
