Virtual GIS Days 2021 at UW-Milwaukee will be held Monday, April 12–Thursday, April 15. “Going virtual” brings opportunities, opportunities to learn, to change, to expand our communities and to collaborate in new ways. We are excited to collaborate this year with the Northern Area GIS User Group, reaching across the state, to combine our events, and to welcome Yolanda Chioma Richards-Albert as we work to solve critical issues in our communities.
The UWM GIS Council has planned a wide variety of virtual activities showcasing area GIS projects and resources. All sessions are free, but registration is required for this virtual event. Go to uwm.edu/gisday for more information.
Activities include hands-on workshops, presentations by GIS professionals, a student competition, a featured speaker Yolanda Chioma Richards-Albert and a chance to meet and converse with other attendees. With your involvement, the UWM GIS Council expects this event to be highly successful and as well-attended as their last one.
