Spring Regional Social Spotlight: O'so is a Story of Rebirth!

Posted By: Kim Meinert Spring Regional,

The FREE Wednesday Night Event during the Spring Regional features a trip to O'so Brewing in nearby Plover.  For those who love turning lemons into lemonade (or perhaps a nice shandy), this is for you.

O'so started in 2007 as many do, a hobby in home-brewing gone wild.  But they quickly became one of the fastest growing breweries in Wisconsin.  Then they decided to really take it up a notch by joining a group of buinesses that took over an old Shopko building.  The devopment called "Artist and Fare" became a new commerce center for Plover, adding room for 20 different businesses.  The O'so Brewing portion contains 32,000 square feet and allows customers to watch the entire brewing process while enjoying one themselves.  A large portion of the renovation took place during the pandemic, so it was extra sweet when they were able to move across the street from their old location in May 2021.  Food was also recently added, and yes, there are some things for those who don't partake in the barley and hops variety of beverage.  We've all heard about the big-box stores sitting empty for years, but this truly displays what can be done.

Hop on our provided bus and join us for free food inlcuding house-made pizza, games, and best of all, laughs with your WLIA friends on Wednesday night during the Spring Regional.  If you don't have a hotel room yet, act before May 1st for best availability!  All information can be found on our Events page and make sure to add your free ticket for this event when you register for the conference so we can plan for you.
