You can start with Track #4 on Thursday morning and attend the following presentations:
Utility Asset Management Using Esri's Web Experience Builder
Samantha Keehan and Lou Rada of the City of Sun Prairie will take you through how Sun Prairie improved their sanitary and stormwater asset management systems using the Esri ArcGIS Enterprise Portal environment.
BIM Supports 3D Asset Management
Emily Champagne, Geospatial Manager for the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District, will take participants through how 3D Modeling and Building Information Modeling (BIM) supports vertical asset management and improves operations at their two Water Reclamation Facilities.
The Integration of GIS at WisDOT
Here we can tune in to Adam Feidt, Tony J. Van Der Wielen, and Bill Shockley, all with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, as they tell us how the integration of GIS at WisDOT has expanded. They will update us on how GIS is now embedded across multiple divisions and how a strong collaborative GIS community within the Department supports this technology. Their goal is to spark conversation, allow for questions and input that will help drive the future of GIS initiatives at WisDOT.
We can then continue with Utilities and add in Data/Web Hosting on Friday morning in Track #18.
Asset Management for Communities and Utilities
Jon Schwichtenberg, of GRAEF, will cover how to set up an asset management system for a community/utility. You'll get to see a deep dive into utility data, systems and the pros/cons of it all!
Utility Network: What is it and How Can it be Leveraged?
Join Jarod Fox, Solution Engineer with ESRI, as he provides participants with a comprehensive understanding of the latest advancements in utility network management using ArcGIS technology. Expect to learn about differences between geometric and utility networks, data modeling and schema design, and real-world use cases and success stories, among other things!
