Introducing Tristan Wirkus, a junior at UW-Eau Claire studying Geography and Computer Science. Upon graduation, Tristan hopes to find a job that involves collecting field data and creating maps and models to best represent and visualize the data. Tristan has served as a student assistant in the Geography Department, and volunteers his time with the Geography and Anthropology club on campus.
A quote from his professor: “From his field experiences, successful proposal writing, and presenting his research, Tristan has shown he understands the complexity in planning a field-based research project.”
