2026 Damon Anderson Memorial Scholarship Award Announcement

WLIA Scholarship Committee had their work cut out for them this year with all the amazing applicants to the Damon Anderson Memorial Scholarship program. It was truly difficult to narrow it down to just three recipients. The hard decisions this year underscore how important everyone's donations to the Damon Anderson Memorial Scholarship fund really are. We would have loved to give out many more.

Without further ado and with great exuberance, we would like to extend our congratulations to this year’s Damon Anderson Memorial Scholarship recipients:

Olivia Gillen, Eugenie Huang, and Claire Meyer.

Each winner receives:

• A $2,000 scholarship for the 2026-2027 academic school year.
• One year student membership in the Wisconsin Land Information Association.
• Free registration for the 2027 WLIA Annual Conference to be held February 17-19, 2027 in Madison. All recipients will be recognized at this conference.
• Free hotel accommodations for the 2027 WLIA Annual Conference at the Hilton Madison or Embassy Suites for up to two nights.
• Formal career mentorship from a WLIA member for at least the 2026-2027 academic school year.
