2026 Fall Conference Proposals - Due March 23rd

Posted By: Monique Hassman Fall Conference,

Planning is already in motion for the 2026 WLIA Fall Conference, and this year marks an exciting milestone. WLIA is partnering with the Geospatial Professional Network (GPN) to host their annual gathering alongside our event from October 12–15, 2026, at the Hilton Milwaukee City Center. This year’s conference offers a rare chance to present on a national stage and connect with a broad, diverse geospatial community. Presenters will engage in meaningful discussions, learn from new perspectives, and build relationships with peers from across the country.

With this new partnership, our planning timeline is beginning earlier than usual, and the call for presentation proposals is now open. Proposals are due this Monday, March 23, 2026, and we encourage you to showcase your innovative GIS and land information work at this special joint conference. Details on presentation formats, track themes, and the online submission form are available on the Presentation Proposal Submission page. For those interested in contributing beyond presenting, the Fall Educational Committee is actively seeking new members as monthly planning meetings continue.

We look forward to sharing more updates as they become available and hope to see you in Milwaukee this fall for an exceptional and inspiring experience.
