Announcing WLIA's 2025 Damon Anderson Memorial Scholarship Winners!

The WLIA Scholarship Committee is proud to announce its 2025 Damon Anderson Memorial Scholarship awardees, Samantha Consiglio, Jordyn Czyzewski, and Sabrina Wolf! 

Since 2005, WLIA members have invested in the future of the land information and geospatial communities through its scholarship program. Named in 2007 for WLIA member, community leader, and student champion, Damon Anderson, this program has now provided support to over 75 students prepping for their careers in all things geospatial. 

Leading to the WLIA Annual Conference, we’ll bring you stories from each of this year’s winners on the WLIA website. If you see them at the conference and future WLIA events, say hello!

Congratulations Sabrina, Jordyn, and Samantha! 

Samantha Consiglio is a first-year graduate student at the University of Washington in Seattle. A Geography graduate of the University of 
Wisconsin-Eau Claire, she is pursuing her Master's in Urban Planning.

 


Jordyn H. Czyzewski, a senior at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, is completing her undergraduate degrees in Landscape and Urban Studies, Geography, and Environmental Studies. 

  

Sabrina R. Wolf is a senior at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater finishing her undergraduate degree in Environmental Science with a general business minor and GIS certificate.­­­

 



WLIA Foundation News 

The WLIA Foundation is WLIA’s tax-exempt fundraising partner for the Damon Anderson Memorial scholarships. Its function is to provide for and manage the endowment fund enabling our scholarship program. This year, the Foundation is striving build our endowment to $150,000 which will add to our current capability to perpetually award $4,000 in grants on an annual basis. With rising college costs and the desire to serve a diverse array of promising students, we would love your help in making WLIA’s scholarship program a meaningful resource in the future!
