Call for Volunteers: WLIA Strategic Plan Update Task Force
The Wisconsin Land Information Association (WLIA) is seeking interested members to join a new Strategic Plan Update Task Force. Our current strategic plan, last updated in 2016, has guided WLIA for nearly a decade. As our industry evolves — from advancing geospatial technologies to changing statewide needs — it’s time to revisit our direction and shape the future of the organization.
We’re looking for members who want to help to:
- Provide input on WLIA’s long‑term goals
- Identify emerging priorities in Wisconsin’s land information community
- Ensure WLIA continues to serve as an effective, forward‑thinking organization
Whether you are a long‑time WLIA participant or newer to the community, your perspective is valuable. The task force’s goal is to complete the strategic plan update and present the results at the 2028 Annual Conference, and the time commitment is light, with occasional check‑ins and collaborative discussions as needed.
If you’re interested in joining the task force or would like more information, please complete our interest form. We look forward to collaborating with members who are passionate about strengthening WLIA’s future.
