Call for Nominations Deadline October 30
Help shape the future of WLIA! A deadline is coming up at the end of this month to nominate candidates for leadership positions in our organization. We are seeking nominations for two roles: the Board of Directors and President-Elect.
Board of Directors
The Board of Directors is comprised of 12 representatives, each serving a two-year term. Each year, six individuals are elected from a slate of 12 candidates. Board Members lead our six committees, serving as Vice Chair during the first year of their term, and Chair during the second. Nominees must be WLIA members.
President-Elect
The President-Elect serves one year as President-Elect of the association, one year as President of the association, one year as the Past President position on the Board of Directors and one year as the Scholarship Foundation President, making this a four-year commitment. Nominees for President-Elect must have served two years on the Board of Directors, and be a WLIA member.
