Is it Summer Yet?! A Message from WLIA President, Kim Christman

I think the weather is finally ready to be called Summer.  We just wrapped up the Spring Conference and now we are working on the next fun thing – Summer Virtual Workshops.  Ok, pump the breaks….it might be time to chill for a bit.

By the way, the Spring Conference this year was a blast!  We had so much content that we had 2 tracks of sessions happening on Thursday!  It was pretty great, and the networking events were top notch.  Thank you to Tyler DeBruin, Spring Education Committee, the League of Municipalities, and our sponsors.  These events make our organization, and its members thrive and believe me we are THRIVING! 

Next up is our Summer Virtual Workshop series.  We have 2 workshops that we will be offering this summer.  News about them will be coming out very soon so keep an eye out for it.  

Later in the year, we will be meeting again for the Fall Conference in Madison, WI.  The planning is well underway, and details can be found on the website and in upcoming news posts.  It will be a great event with lots of topics to discuss.  Madison is a great place to meet and network!  Can’t wait to see ya’ll there!
